UEFA EUROPEAN QUALIFIERS - Helping set the standards of international football storytelling
Since 2018, I've worked with IMG and UEFA to produce feature content across the UEFA European Qualifiers for the Euros and FIFA World Cup - and UEFA Nations League - creating short-form match features distributed globally to rights holders.
Working at stadiums across Europe and then in the edit back at IMG Studios, I co-shot and edit-produced features that capture the passion and pageantry of international football. But I’ve always looked at the bigger picture too: how can we make the content offering better?

That instinct has driven me to continually evolve the creative standard of the strand - helping build a core, trusted team of camera-ops and craft editors, improving every part of the production process from planning to shooting style, camera equipment, scripting, music track selection and edit workflows.
Building strong relationships has been central to that approach: working closely with UEFA, national associations, host broadcasters and the team at IMG to maximise stadium access and elevate the final output.
I developed workflows to increase collaboration with host broadcasters to source ISO feeds and EVS material that allowed us to add scale, atmosphere and drama to each edit.
Shaping these films from shoot through to final edit typically meant working to demanding turnaround times and tight delivery deadlines - often making fast editorial decisions on little sleep having travelled internationally, while ensuring storytelling, production values and attention to detail remained at the highest level.

The result is a body of cinematic features that showcase European international football at its dramatic best - capturing the elite performances, human stories and raw emotion that make the game resonate around the world.
